Return to swimming for Hull Masters

Return to swimming for Hull Masters

After an extremely long extended break due to the Coronavirus lockdown, we’re delighted to say that we’ll be back in the pool from Saturday 1st August!

The way we swim will have to change dramatically, so we’ve introduced a number of measures to help keep our swimmers and pool staff safe. These measures include limiting access to changing rooms and showers, the introduction of double lanes, use of our own equipment, no-overtaking when swimming, no butterfly, and social distancing within the building and within lanes.

Read the full list of new guidelines and processes we need all swimmers to observe.

As a result of these measures, we’ve had to reduce the number of sessions available from four to three per week and we have limited spaces at our sessions as follows:

Mondays - 27 spaces

Thursdays - 19 spaces

Saturdays - 9 spaces

The venues we train at - Ennerdale and Woodford Leisure Centres - have also introduced new cleaning procedures as well making Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) available for first aid, face masks for poolside staff, gloves within first aid rooms and hand sanitiser throughout both centres.

We’re well placed to return to swimming safely and we look forward to welcoming both existing and new members.

If you are new to Hull Masters and want to join us as we dip our toes back into the water, please get in touch with us via the Hull Masters email - and we can talk you through the new safe swimming and booking processes.
